I've long thought that Gayle McCormick was majorly overlooked by her record labels after she left Smith and went solo. Aside from dedicated fans here on YT, her music has virtually disappeared. Both of her solo albums have literally been nonexistent in current streaming service archives, and that's the REAL cryin' shame. She was a great musical talent and deserves so much better respect than what she has been getting. RIP Sweet Gayle, your music still resonates with us dedicated fans.

A remarkably self-assured debut solo album from the lead singer of Smith. Well worth seeking out. She should have been huge.
