SANDSTONE;LOOKING MYSELF,CD,UUSI (PROG ROCK 2006)

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 7 March 2006 Sandstone was ed in Poland in 2001. Their first year was as a 4 piece without keyboards and began composing songs, but they realized to get the sound they desired, that a keyboardist would be needed. In 2002 the band started recording their first demo, which stylistically could be called progmetal. They sent the demo all over the world and received very positive response which encouraged them to go in to the studio and record the full length album which was completed in January 2006. On March 2nd 2006 Sandstone was signed to ProgRock Records and their debut album "Looking for Myself" will be released in April 2006.

The six songs from the album "Looking for Myself" tell about the journey of a young man through the world in search of love. Love given and love received. This journey is often full of frustration and disappointment, and he is forced to make hard decisions. The young man will eventually find the hope and power to reach his objective. He'll do it - but only with love. Only with love is he able to find himself.

The band had this to say: "Our dreams came truth. We were working for this album for three years. We are very glad that we have signed our first contract with such a great label as ProgRock Records; this is the only place we should be with our music now.".

Ive really been enjoying the bands coming out of Poland the last few years, so when Sandstone showed up on my desk I had high hopes of making an exciting discovery and I wasnt disappointed.
