Street Poet Ray 3. Marvel, 1990
Street-Poet-Ray 3 - "Hearts without a Home". Vol. 1 No. 3. Writer Michael Redmond. Penciler Junko Hosizawa. Inker Junko Hosizawa. Letterer Junko Hosizawa. Editor Tom DeFalco. NY, New York: Marvel Comics, 1990. 2+32+2 p. ; ill. b&w. (sc) $2:95. Cover Art by Junko Hosizawa.
This series is purportedly the lowest-selling Marvel comic of all time. That is even more notable given that it was published during the sales boom of the early 90s.
This review is from: Street Poet Ray, Vol 1 #1
With insipid poetry, mind-numbingly simplistic philosophy and the kind of art that makes you wonder whether STREET POET RAY may have been drawn by a group of four-year-olds on Ritalin, this is possibly the worst comic book I've ever read. I actually had blocked it out until a recent mention on the terrific "Nobody's Favorites" column and now I've been moved to warn anyone who might see it there and get curious: What he showed you there is by no means the worst of it.
