This 100 Tanzanian shilling note is a red note that measures 156 mm x 83 mm and bears the signatures of Finance Minister Amir Habib Jamal and Governor Charles Nyirabu printed by Thomas De La Rue & Co in London. Its obverse side shows the first president Julius Kambarage Nyerere. Its reverse side depicts students reading in a library, a boy with a hoe, a girl with a tool and the map of Tanzania. Security features include a solid security thread and a giraffe head watermark. It also experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering.
