On Time is the electrifying debut album by Grand Frank Railroad, one of the biggest American bands from the 1970s. Full of exciting hard rock in the bold style created by Cream, it was certified GOLD in 1978, and is a pioneering album in the development of heavy metal. Includes such classic hits as "Into the Sun," "Are You Ready," "T.N.U.C.," "Heartbreaker," and "Anybody's Answer."

One of the 1970s' most successful hard rock bands in spite of critical pans and somewhat reluctant radio airplay (at first), Grand Funk Railroad built a devoted fan base with constant touring, a loud, simple take on the blues-rock power trio sound, and strong working-class appeal.

One of the best power trios of the era, Grand Funk became a huge fan favourite at their peak, selling out arenas across the US. You’d be hard pressed to find a similar outfit that mastered a combination of boogie rock, soul and power chords that channelled the heartland like Grand Funk could.
