The band is currently comprised of original drummer Phil Ehart, bassist/vocalist Billy Greer, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, violinist/guitarist David Ragsdale, keyboardist/vocalist Tom Brislin, guitarist Zak Rizvi, and original guitarist Richard Williams. 

Overall, Kansas sounds more vital than ever. The skills and creativity of the new players/songwriters (Brislin and Rizvi) have meshed seamlessly with the wisdom and talents of the elder band members (Williams, Ehart, Greer and Ragsdale) – anchored of course by the timeless vocals of Platt – to sculpt a new, yet classically familiar version of the band, one which will surely resonate with most of the fan base. And even if you have never heard Kansas previously, the melodic, catchy and lush music here would surely captivate even the most critical listener of classic and progressive rock.
