The band was originally the creation of Lou Adler and songwriting duo P.F. Sloan and Steve Barri. In their career, they achieved two gold albums, one gold single and charted singles on the Billboard Hot 100 a total of 21 times.

netistä: The Grass Roots are my favorite 60s 70s pop bands of all time. The title track here "Feelings" is a brilliant song that was featured in the hit movie "With Six You Get Egg Roll" starring the beautiful Doris Day And Brian Keith. I love Rob Grills manly powerful vocals RIP Mr. Grill.
