You can theoretically use the lens with cameras with Olympus OM mount. However, it is an electronically controlled autofocus lens. Aperture and focus are set by the camera electronics and cannot be changed manually on the lens itself. Therefore, you can only use it with two models in the series, the OM-707 (OM-77 AF) and OM-101 PF (OM-88). It does not make sense to use it on other models of the OM series or modern digital cameras.

The nine lens elements of the Olympus AF 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5 are arranged in eight groups. A 49mm filter lens, such as an Orange filter, can be attached in front of the lens. The weight is listed at 250 grams and the length is 5.3 cm.
