Happy Birthday: The Best of Altered Images is Altered Images' first double-disc anthology. It’s ideal for those who won’t be satisfied with a straightforward single-disc comp (of which there are several options) and yet don’t quite want to take the plunge with the band’s three albums (all of which were reissued in 2004). All the band’s singles, as well as deeper album cuts and a couple of very necessary remixes (the Martin Rushent mix of “I Could Be Happy” and the dance mix of “Happy Birthday”), are included here.
