                      Barbarella was a Dutch all-female dance/pop trio from the Netherlands.

The group consisted of singers Angela Vermeer, Ingrid Brans and Leslie Doornik. 

They first came to prominence performing in the Dutch TV show, The Pin Up Club . 

In the Netherlands and  Finland  their debut album went gold . 

Barbarella is widely recognized as being the most influential band in the history of the Dutch pre-imposed new romantics period (New Romanticism).
