Crime drama with Diana Dors and George Baker. Set in the North of England this atmospheric crime thriller stars Diana Dors as the sexy vamp Calico, who is the girlfriend of Dave (Terence Morgan). When Dave s better looking brother Johnny (George Baker) arrives from London to escape his gambling debts, the heat soon rises when Johnny and Calico are attracted to each other. She persuades the brothers to rob the wages safe where Dave works, but as they break in, a night watchman discovers them...

This is a good little crime thriller, set "up north", with Diana Dors playing the sexy vamp (or is that tramp?) girlfriend, Calico, of Terence Morgan's staid little office worker, Dave. Things heat up when his shady, and much better-looking, brother Johnny, played by George Baker, arrives from London on the run from "the boys", and there is an instant attraction between him and Calico. She hatches a plan to get the two brothers to rob the safe where her boyfriend works, and that's when things begin to take off. Calico is a hostess in a club/dance-hall/dive, similar to today's hostesses' in lap/pole/table dancing clubs but minus the nudity! --www.imdb.com
