Black and white Gothic whodunit starring a young Christopher Lee.
Members of the Karnstein family are being murdered at an alarming rate and there is an old legend that a Karnstein witch will return to wreak her vengeance on the family. The killer will have the witch's face but all pictures and references to her have been erased. The count (Christopher Lee) summons a mediaeval expert to search the family records in their gloomy old castle because he fears that his daughter may be the witch.
