Myyntiin Dan Brownin menestyskirjaan perustuva filmatisointi Da Vinci -Koodi Blu-ray. Kyseessä on kahden levyn extended cut, jossa on myös runsaasti extroja.

Trilleri perustuu Dan Brownin bestseller-romaaniin. Kun arvostettu amerikkalainen uskonnollisen symboliikan asiantuntija tohtori Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) kutsutaan Louvreen Ranskan FBI:n, kapteeni Bezu Fachen (Jean Reno) johtamana, hän huomaa pian olevansa pääepäilty historioitsijan murhasta, jonka kanssa Langdonin oli määrä tavata. • Unlocking the Code Interactive PiP Experience: This involving (albeit arguably overworked) behind-the-scenes jaunt uses clickable icons to provide users access to interview segments with key members of the cast and crew, concept art, still photographs, descriptions of the differences between Brown's book and Goldsman's screenplay, production factoids, historical trivia, and more. It's too complicated for its own good (requiring far too much finger shuffling over the course of its 174-minute runtime), but Da Vinci Code fans will enjoy the sheer amount of information that's been crammed into this track.

• Select-Scenes Audio Commentary: Even though a full-length audio commentary hasn't been recorded for this release, I actually found myself appreciating director Ron Howard's discretion. Instead of running out of steam half way through a three-hour track, he engages in a scene-specific discussion that gives him ample time to cover the book, his production, the cast, the challenges of shooting on location, the underlying controversy of the story, and the eventual reception of the film.

• Production Featurettes (HD, 159 minutes): Divided into seventeen individual chapters on disc two, this extensive documentary is far more compelling than the film. First Day on the Set with Ron Howard (2 minutes) is a quick introduction with Ron Howard, A Discussion with Dan Brown (5 minutes) is just that, Book to Screen (11 minutes) explores the novel's adaptation, The Filmmakers' Journey (37 minutes) is a broad two-part look at the production, Magical Places (16 minutes) gives a solid overview of the locations featured in the film, A Portrait of Langdon (7 minutes) is a character-centric investigation of Brown's protagonist, Who is Sophie Neveu? (7 minutes) follows suit, and Unusual Suspects (18 minutes) focuses on the supporting cast.
  
  Next up are a few more practical featurettes. Close-up on Mona Lisa (7 minutes) is a dry mini-doc about the famous painting, Recreating Works of Art (6 minutes) shows how famous pieces were replicated, Props (10 minutes) investigates the Cryptex and other important objects that land in Langdon's paws, Visual Effects (15 minutes) plows through the special effects Howard employed, The Codes of The Da Vinci Code (6 minutes) dissects the religious symbols and iconography found throughout the film, Sets (9 minutes) visits Richard Roberts' creations, The Music (3 minutes) briefly touches on Hans Zimmer's compositions, and Recording Sessions (10 minutes) finds him in the mixing booth. In all, the featurettes amount to a thorough chunk-o-documentary that dwarfs the material found on most other releases.

• BD-Live Cinechat: You can also hop online as the film plays and use on-screen text-messaging to share your thoughts with other users. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this sort of thing, but I don't think I'll ever understand its allure.

• Angels & Demons Extended Preview (HD, 7 minutes): Hopefully this follow-up effort will be more entertaining than its bland predecessor.
