Made in Japan on minusta maailman paras livelevy. Minulla on hyllyssäni siitä 21 vinyyli tuplaa eri puolilta maailmaa, kaikki omien maiden ensijulkaisuja vuosilta 1972-1975. Niiden lisäksi hyllyssä on 22. tupla eli uusin, Steven Wilson 2025 tekemä miksaus. Toinen avaamaton LP on Huutonetissä myynnissä.

Kyseessä on siis itselleni ns. pakkomieli levy ja ehkä juuri siksi ostin 2014 julkaistun vinyyli boksin lisäksi tämän, maailmalla yli 200 euron hintaisen ceedee-boksin. (Huutonetissä on tällä hetkellä myynnissä samanlainen kuin tämä 199 eurolla).

Tämän boksin erikoisuus ja varmasti osaksi syy sen kovaan hintaan maailmalla on mukana tuleva, tunnin mittainen dokumentti-DVD. Se sisältää ei-missään muualla julkaistuja harvinaisia 1970-1973 video klippejä (katselen sitä juuri ja siksi kuvassa 4 ei näy DVD-levyä. Kuvassa 2 näet että olen laittanut varmuuden vuoksi levyt muovitaskuihin etteivät ne naarmuunnu.

Miksi tämä boksi on näin kallis vaikka uudessa 2025 boksissa on sama musa? Syynä on se, että keikkojen 2014 miksaus on selvästi uusia parempi. Tämä tuote toimitetaan isossa laatikossa ja sinne mahtuu vaikka sata levyä mukaan jos niin haluat.
