There's an impressive attention to detail in the recreation of the time period. I did not know anything about this when I first watched it and for the first 10 minutes I thought it genuinely was a lost TV film from the 70s. I'd recommend it."

" I had no idea what to expect when watching this comedy. However, as someone who had to watch Columbo back in the day with my parents, this film is a fond reminder. This film is a soft spoof on all those detective shows and I was smiling from beginning to end as the plot unfolded. I could easily watch this again or watch a sequel. It was nice to watch a simple story told in a casual and amusing way. Inspector Ike and his laid back demeanour as he investigated the case didn't display any great analytical insight. What I loved about the film was how he was under estimated by the culprit, even dismissed but was a thorn in his side, up to the very end, just like Columbo. Really enjoyed this understated comedy but you have to have a certain type of humour to get it. "
