Derek William Dick
Profile:
Born 25-Apr-1958 in Dalkeith, Scotland. Best known as the original vocalist and lyricist with Marillion, although he had a vastly longer career as a solo artist. His singing (and in Marillion's early days; his image) was often compared to that of Peter Gabriel.
He retired from music in March 2025 after his final farewell UK tour called "The Road To The Isles".
