netistä: Originally known as The Staccatos formed in Ottawa, Canada the group formed in the mid-'60s and earned their first big break with the 1967 hit "Half Past Midnight" (#8 Canada) although 5 earlier songs had reached the top 40). Their first attempt at stateside success came that year when they recorded A Wild Pair with the Guess Who. The album sold well and "Half Past Midnight" was released as a single in the U.S., but the group was dismissed as sounding too much like the Beach Boys. The Staccatos released their second album, Five Man Electrical Band, in 1968, and renamed themselves after it the following year.

Canadian band's debut LP featuring charming late 60's psych garage-tinged sunshine-pop-ish catchy songs, vocal harmony, some strings & subtle psych effects & influences.
Fun-filled creative period pop-rock.

This is not a Five Man Electrical Band LP, it's actually the last album for The Staccatos which gave them their namesake on the suggestion from bassist Brian Rading!
I know cauze I worked for them and was their roadie for more years then what I can remember...lol
