Gov't Mule – The Deep End Volume 1 & Volume 2 - Hidden Treasures is a special 3-CD compilation set released by ATO Records and Evangeline Records.

• Background: Following the tragic death of founding bassist Allen Woody in 2000, remaining members Warren Haynes (vocals, guitar) and Matt Abts (drums) decided to continue. Instead of hiring a permanent replacement right away, they invited a massive roster of world-renowned bassists that Woody admired to play on the sessions.

• The Volumes: The project expanded into two full studio albums—The Deep End, Volume 1 (released in 2001) and The Deep End, Volume 2 (released in 2002).

• Hidden Treasures: The 3-CD box/compilation bundle includes both studio volumes alongside a bonus disc titled Hidden Treasures featuring live recordings and alternate tracks.
