Filled with dreams of becoming a brave defender of justice, Byung Ki (Cha Tae Hyun) is a low-ranking policeman of few words in a village, helping out with trivial tasks like distributing flyers. One day, he runs into Min Kyong (Kim Sun Ah), who works at the neighborhood bowling alley, and falls for her at first sight. His attempts to woo her, however, are hardly noticeable, and things get even gloomier when local gang boss Sang Doo sets his eyes on Min Kyong, vowing to take her virginity on Christmas Eve!
