Osa 1: Mitä tekisit, jos olisit näkymätön? Kuinka pitkälle menisit? Vuosien kokeiden jälkeen tohtori Sebastian Caine, nerokas mutta ylimielinen ja itsekäs puolustusministeriön tiedemies, oppii muuttamaan nisäkkäitä näkymättämään muotoon ja takaisin fyysisiksi. Hollow Man 2 - mies ilman varjoa tarjoaa tuplasti enemmän jännitystä, kuin edeltäjänsä. Christian Slater (Veren vangit, True Romance) esittää Michael Griffiniä, armeijan erikoisjoukkojen miestä, joka on muuttunut mielipuoliseksi tappajaksi osallistuttuaan kokeeseen, jossa hänen suoniinsa on ruiskutettu kokeellista näkymättömyysseerumia. Seerumi ei toimi toivotulla tavalla, vaan aiheuttaa koeihmisen hitaan ja tuskaisen kuoleman.
