netistä: This is a fantastic slice of beatlesque psych pop with melodic guitar lines, UK flavored vocals with tasty harmonies throughout. This is really really really good. The songwriting alone is just fantastic but when you have the musicianship to match you end up with a classic lost pop rock lp from the 60s. Check out strawberry jam man for one of several examples. The pressing is excellent as well. Perfect separation of instruments with well balanced lows, mids and highs.

Found a sealed copy for $12.00 of this late entry of psychedelic fare. I suppose no one bought it when it first came out and boxes of Jamme sat in a warehouse somewhere. Nonetheless, Jamme is a record which is a joy of a listening experience all of the way though and deserves more recognition. The only real crime of this album is that it is over before you know it. All of the songs were written by the band members and as a result, they are tuneful, melodic, and arranged tastefully with a Beatles-like quality. Poor Widow, She Sits There, Jan (a personal fave), and Scarborough Rose are highlights, but the whole record is above-average song-wise, and a tremendous value.
