Luc Besson : Subway (1985)

Laadukas vähän vanhempi ehkä loppuunmyyty UK julkaisu. Toimii normaalissa suomalaisessa soittimessa ja sisältää alkuperäisen ranska puheen ja englanti tekstit.

This film easily makes it into my Top 100. Perhaps not quite making my Top 10, but it's close! Admittedly more of a case of style over substance, but still very enjoyable. IMHO, one of the best (realistic?) car-chases ever as an an opener - followed by a wonderful title 'reveal'. Ms Adjani looks absolutely gorgeous - especially in her first appearance. Christopher Lambert at his most stylish (though I thought he looked great in Highlander!). Jean Reno makes his first appearance in my consciousness and shows his (future?) style. Some nice lighthearted touches - particularly the banter between the police. Sorry, for the capitals, but AVOID dubbed versions! The subtitles are way better; even if you don't understand any French (and mine is 'comme ci, comme ca'!), you'll lose a lot of the 'sense' of the film!
