Exhibition publication: In 2010, Oiva Toikka (b. 1931) celebrates his 50-year career as Iittala's designer. In honor of the celebration, the Design Museum is exhibiting a large Oiva Toikka retrospective exhibition from 30 May to 19 September 2010, which presents Toika's versatile production, from the early ceramic sculptures of the 1950s to today's glass and plastic objects. Popular glass sets, glass birds loved by collectors and wonderful unique works are included.
