The set mirrors Brady's path from traditional Irish folk music in the 1970s through forceful and impassioned folk-rock to a softer mainstream pop style in the '80s. His folk craft surfaces here in two beautifully realised new recordings--"The Lakes of Pontchartrain" and "Arthur McBride".
