netistä: This is a real GEM and once again nobody knows it!Pure psychedelic majesty from beginning to end...its a wonderfully dark and kaleidoscopic popsike trip, full of quirky songs and psychy little touches...it shimmers!Jobriath is on fine form here and the band back him all the way.Similar to the 1st Coven,Tingling mothers circus and the mighty Queens nectarine machine..its a truly classic piece, and the sleeves a FRAMER!This is begging for a cd release snd soon PLEASE Highly recommended to all you tripsters.Go buy!!!!!!

Unbelievably ignored major label psych pop gem. Very professional and elegant. Dark Bird is a 6/5 masterpiece and worth the cost of the LP alone.

A severely underrated album by a severely underrated artist, Jobriath Boone. (Credited as Jobraith Salisbury on this album.) Hints of '60s popsike, early progressive rock, and baroque pop mixed with tight vocal harmonies and talented instrumentalists.

If you are lucky enough to find a copy, snatch that sucker.
