PINK FLOYD: Echoes, The Best of (2-CD)

PINK FLOYD on englantilainen rockyhtye ja yksi kaikkien aikojen suosituimmista yhtyeistä. Pink Floydin levyjä on myyty maailmanlaajuisesti yli 250 miljoonaa ja yksin Yhdysvalloissa 74,5 miljoonaa.Yhtye tunnetaan psykedeelis- ja progressiivissävytteisestä musiikistaan, taitavista sanoituksistaan ja näyttävistä konserteistaan.

Yhtye nousi suosioon albumin Dark Side of the Moon (1973) myötä, jota jatkoivat albumit Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977) ja The Wall (1979) joista kaksi jälkimmäistä olivat basisti Roger Watersin lähes täysin omia tuotoksia. Watersin ja kitaristi David Gilmourin riitojen takia kokoonpano hajosi. Yhtye on kuitenkin jatkanut David Gilmourin johdolla.

Tässä on myynnissä yhtyeen tähän mennessä paras kokoelma, v. 2001 ilmestynyt ECHOES, THE BEST OF PINK FLOYD, joka on tupla ja jolla on 26 kappaletta. Mukana ovat kaikki yhtyeen suosikit ja menestyskappaleet.
