Rare Earth is an American rock band affiliated with Motown's Rare Earth record label (which was named after the band) who were particularly famous in the late-1960s and 1970s.
They had a number of Top Ten hits in the 1970-1971 period.
The "One World" album by Rare earth was THEIR BEST ever!!

Rare Earth on yhdysvaltalainen rock-yhtye, joka perustettiin vuonna 1960 Detroitissa.
Yhtye on tunnetu Motown Soundistaan ja se oli Motown -levy-yhtiön leivissä kunnes sai oman levy-yhtiön; Rare Earth Records, joka nimettiin yhtyeen mukaan. Yhtyeessä on viidellä vuosikymmenellä soittanut 30 eri muusikkoa ja ainoa alkuperäisjäsen on Gil Brigdes.
