Human Capitalism: The Japanese Enterprise System As World Model
Ozaki asserts that between traditional capitalism and socialism lies an economic system known as "human capitalism" where people, not machines, matter most. While he clearly defines the differences in philosophy and incentives among these systems, his book is essentially a primer on the principles of human capitalism, stronger on generalities than on specifics. Demonstrating that the Japanese economy is but one version of human capitalism, Ozaki advocates the adoption of this system in a wide variety of circumstances. Although somewhat repetitive, his book is recommended for all economics collections.
