Satechi USB-C hub for Apple laptops (network, USB-A/C, HDMI)

I tested this successfully with my Apple Powerbook and HP monitor. However, I do know (from the 2018 IVBM conference in Helsinki) that for a few individual Macbooks this adapter did not work (we had to "emergency"-buy a few original Apple USB-C hubs to make sure that all computers could connect to the HDMI display system in the Finlandia hall.
