Overflowing with emotion and a palpable eroticism!

Herein lies the essence of Tanizaki's literature in full bloom!

Doshomachi in Osaka was a district of pharmaceutical wholesalers, and among them, Mozuya was a well-known, long-established shop.

Their second daughter, Okoto, lost her sight at a young age and studied koto and shamisen under Kengyo Harumatsu, and her beauty became the talk of the town.

Sasuke, who became an apprentice at Mozuya at the age of 11, served Okoto with utmost sincerity.

And the love story of these two began from the moment they first met.
