She gathered enough material to support her case and was ready to publicise the problem, but on her way to a meeting with the 'New York Times', she was killed in a suspicious car crash. This film tells the full story, with Meryl Streep as Karen, Kurt Russell as her live-in boyfriend, and Cher playing their lesbian flat-mate.
