From Minniepaulmusic.com: The title track was written for Elvis Presley by Bill Normandin, a songwriter in suburban Minneapolis. He sent it off to the national Elvis fan club but predictably never heard back from anyone. He subsequently offered the song to The Jades (Bloomington, Minnesota) who recorded it in 1964 as the lead side of their Gaity single, backed by "Surfin' Crow."
