The epic tale of the Iliad charting the rise and fall of the ultimate Greek hero, Achilles, explodes onto the screen in this adaptation. The section concerned, follows Paris's betrayal of the king of Sparta, Menelaus, which results in the almighty siege of Troy. The characteristic moment was the sending of the Trojan Horse, to trick the enemy into allowing warriors into the city. Ohjaus Wolfgang Petersen (Das Boot, The NeverEnding Story).
