Compiled from eight sets of live performances taped in 1973.
The original 2-disc album is one of the greatest live albums ever. Now, finally, Morrison and Sony Legacy have gone one better. This package includes 3 complete shows (as well as a DVD of a partial show) form the same tour, although the final audio disc (IV) appears to be culled from two shows at London's Rainbow Theatre.
None of these performances are included on the original album, so it's all new. Even better, the first two discs (II and III) have no overlap in songs. Part IV contains 2 songs not on the other two discs.
This release is just fantastic. Morrison was at the height of his performing powers, the band is great, the songs are great.
