Jackie, struggling with bad luck in Hong Kong, travels to Thailand hoping for a fresh start. There, a mystic known as the “God of Gold” tells her that she can improve her fortunes by caring for a ghost child. Jackie establishes an altar and feeds the spirit drops of her own blood. At first, the protective ghost brings her good fortune, but after Jackie becomes distracted by a new boyfriend and neglects the spirit, supernatural chaos erupts.

The film embraces the wildest traditions of Hong Kong black-magic horror, featuring rampaging ghosts, occult rituals, possession, Taoist sorcerer monks, botched exorcisms, and graphic practical gore. Vinegar Syndrome describes it as a stylish, underseen example of proto-Category III cinema and presents it on Blu-ray in a new 2K restoration from the original 35mm camera negative.
