netistä: What can I say- I always end up liking this album a lot more than I think I would. On surface it looks somewhat like a throw-away Zappa album. But it's got a lot of crazy energy and bang-up playing. I highly enjoy the A-side. I find the title track is maybe the least interesting track (and at 12 minutes, it's the longest), but the album ends with a bang with "Teenage Prostitute", arguably the saddest song Zappa has ever written, and the way its delivered really captures the manic, enslaved, terminal life of this poor girl. I really don't care for the Ike Willis years of Zappa in the 80s, so any Zappa I can get from this era that I enjoy is a win for me.
