Hornblower on brittiläinen historiallinen draamasarja (1998–2003), joka perustuu C.S. Foresterin romaaneihin. Pääosaa nuorena merisotilaana ja upseerina Horatio Hornblowerina esittää Ioan Gruffudd. Sarja seuraa hänen nousuaan Britannian kuninkaallisessa laivastossa Napoleonin sotien aikana.

Nuori merikadetti, Horatio Hornblower, pestautuu 1700-luvun loppupuolella brittiläiseen laivaan Portsmouthissa. Vaaraa rakastava, rohkea ja älykäs Hornblower voittaa nopeasti esimiestensä kunnioituksen, johtaen miehensä ja laivansa läpi vaarallisten vesien ja tehtävien.

C.S. Foresterin kuolemattomiin meriseikkailuihin perustuva, yleisön ja kriitikoiden kilpaa ylistämä minisarja, Hornblower, on elokuvan pituisten jaksojen uljas laivue, puhdas seikkailu ja henkeäsalpaava kokemus! Hornbloweria esittää Ioan Gruffudd.
