Product Description

[Explanation] Nakamura Kinnosuke appears as Genji Kuro, clad in a dazzling white robe and wielding his secret sword, the Agehacho! This is the second installment of "Genji Kuro Sassoki," based on the original work by the renowned swordsman author, Shibata Renzaburo.

The story revolves around a struggle for the treasure hidden within the Flame Sword and Water Smoke Sword, treasured swords said to have been left behind by the tragic general Minamoto no Yoshitsune, and the possession of Genji Kuro, a descendant of Yoshitsune. Set against the backdrop of the port city of Kobe and the Rokko Mountains, this story unfolds amidst a chaotic mix of good and evil, right and wrong. Amongst unruly ronin (masterless samurai) swept up in the noble ideals of reverence for the emperor and expulsion of foreigners, impoverished court nobles, former pirates turned smugglers, a tragic beauty, a passionate foreign girl, a young constable living a righteous life despite his poverty, and a corrupt magistrate, Genji Kuro bravely fights back, wielding his secret sword, the Swallowtail Butterfly, to vanquish evil and uphold justice! A vivid portrayal of the lives of these impressionable young men unfolds!!
